What is HSC ( hsc and ssc)

HSC full form can be described as an higher Secondary Certificate board in India. There are currently 52 boards that are sanctioned in India serving 30 states. For instance, West Bengal is home to six distinct types of boards, including the Board of Primary Education, Board of Secondary education, the board of Madrasah education, Council of Rabindra open schooling and the state council for vocational education and training, and the Council of Higher Secondary Education.

The majority of boards are associated with the US, and Higher Secondary or HSC is the last board. Students are admitted to the college following this.

Overview of HSC Boards and Exam Pattern

The HSC acronym refers to the Higher Secondary board, which consists of two years of classes XI and XII , which leads to the higher secondary examination. Three streams are offered to choose from: commerce, science and arts. In addition students can choose from a variety of cross-disciplinary options like bioscience pure science, pure sciences, and various commerce-related subjects to pick from.

The tests for HSC meaning are held in March. Students must score 40% marks in the primary five subjects of the six to pass the tests. The grades are given to students according to their percentile scores scored out of 100. For science-related subjects 30 marks are set aside for papers that are practical.

Subjects Covered in Higher Secondary Exams

India

The exam in India, HSCor Intermediate is also known in India as the 12th grade (also called +2) exam which is held at the state level through the boards that govern state education such as (Maharashtra board, MP board, Odia board, Bihar board and many other) as well at the federal level, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE), Board of Open Schooling and Skill Education, Sikkim (BOSSE) and National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS). CBSE is the only one to conduct this exam each year. NIOS is held twice per year for public exams with the option of taking exams on demand. In contrast, the 10th class examination is also administered at the state level by states' boards of education and at national level by the Central Board of Secondary Education and in India the exam is known by the name of SSC exam. There are a total of six subjects for the HSC exam that are different for each State Board but common in the case of the Central Board of Secondary Education

Pakistan

It is also known as the Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) is also called Intermediate is a recognized public exam that is taken by pupils of Higher Secondary school or Intermediate college (Junior college) in Pakistan. After completing Matriculation in grades 9 , and 10 the students are then admitted to into an intermediate college and finish their grades 11 and 12. After completing each of the two grades, they have to take standardized tests in the subjects they study. They are administered through provincial bodies at the provincial level , and also by the FBISE on a federal scale. After passing these exams, students are given an Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC). This type of education is also known as the FSc/FA/ICS. There are a variety of streams that students have the option of choosing for their 11 and 12 years of including pre-medical, engineering and sciences (or the social sciences) as well as computer science and commerce. Each stream is comprised of three electives in addition, three mandatory subjects: English, Urdu, Islamiyat (grade 11 only) and Pakistan Studies (grade 12 only).

Nepal

National Examination Board (Nepal) is in charge of organizing and conducting the senior school exams which include the 11th and 12th grade Higher Secondary exams (10+2), the 10th Grade SEE Examination, as well as the 8th eighth grade District Level Examination. After passing the Higher Secondary Exams students will be qualified to attend university.

In addition to the National Higher Secondary Examination, Cambridge International Examinations (CIE) GCE Advanced Level qualifications (known as A-level) is also offered by a few of the public, private as well as international institutions. The level is considered to be comparable in comparison to the National High School (10+2) exam.
